MINNIE from (G)I-DLE Unveils Commentary Film for Debut Solo Album

MINNIE, a member of K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE, has released a commentary film offering insights into her upcoming debut solo mini-album. According to Cube Entertainment, her first mini-album 'HER' will be released digitally on January 21 at 6 PM KST, followed by a physical album release on January 22.
The newly released commentary film showcases MINNIE's personal narrative through creative channel-switching visual effects. In the video, she intriguingly refers to herself in the third person as 'HER,' building anticipation for her solo debut. The artistic film features MINNIE in various artistic poses, including scenes where she appears within picture frames and as statue-like figures, culminating with the powerful message "I am my own muse" displayed in black and white.
The mini-album, which demonstrates MINNIE's artistic involvement through her participation in writing and composing all tracks, features seven songs. The tracklist includes the title track 'HER,' pre-release single 'Blind Eyes Red,' and five other tracks: 'Drive U Crazy,' 'Cherry Sky,' 'Valentine's Dream,' 'It's Okay,' and 'Obsession.'
This release marks MINNIE's first solo venture since her debut with (G)I-DLE, showcasing her individual artistry and musical vision through a personally crafted album where she serves as both muse and creator.
